
Bukayo Saka has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract with the club.
Athleticism revealed in February that Saka and Arsenal had reached an agreement in principle on a new long-term deal.
The England international’s previous contract was due to expire next summer but he’s now tied until 2027 on a deal worth around £15million a year.
Other clubs were interested in Saka, whose previous contract was due to expire next summer, but the 21-year-old was only interested in staying with Arsenal and fully believes in the project Mikel Arteta is building at the Emirates.
Arteta told Arsenal’s website: “It’s great for the club that Bukayo has extended his contract. Retaining our best young talent is key to our continued progress and Bukayo is such an important part of our squad now and for the future.
“Besides being a fantastic talent, Bukayo is a special person, we all love him and he is a credit to himself and his family for the hard work and commitment they have all put in to achieve this. level today.

Sporting director Edu said: “Bukayo has now become one of the best young players in the game and we look forward to enjoying this next stage of his career together with us.”
Saka has played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge this season, contributing 14 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.
Saka is an Arsenal academy product, having joined the club aged seven and made his senior debut aged 17 in November 2018.
He becomes the latest Arsenal player to commit to his long-term future with the club, with teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Aaron Ramsdale also signing new contracts with the club this year.
Arsenal conclude their 2022-23 campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates on Sunday.
