Joe Alwyn attends first public event since Taylor Swift breakup

Joe Alwyn looked cooler than ever at his first public event since his split from Taylor Swift.

The English actor, 32, stepped out on Monday to attend Celine’s dinner at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc amid the ongoing Cannes Film Festival in France.

For the evening, the “Last Letter From Your Lover” star rocked a trendy black suit atop a pale pink satin button-down, which he left partially unbuttoned to show off his white undershirt.

He accessorized the fashion-forward ensemble with chic black sunglasses, a simple gold chain around his neck and classy black dress shoes.

Other attendees of the posh soirée included model Kaia Gerber, who gave old Hollywood glam with a silver gown beneath a white fur coat, and rapper Future, who opted for a classic tuxedo.

Though Alwyn certainly looked calm, cool and collected, he reportedly “feels slighted and is distraught” that his Grammy-winning ex has moved on so quickly following their breakup after more than six years together.

“It wasn’t dramatic,” a source told us in April. “[The relationship] just ran its course.”

However, Swift, 33, made headlines earlier this month for her “budding romance” with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, whom she has known since 2014.

A source told the Daily Mail that Alwyn is upset because he put his “trust” in the “Anti-Hero” hitmaker when she told him that she and Healy, 34 — who worked on her “Midnights” album, which was released in October 2022 — were just “friends.”

Meanwhile, Swift is on cloud nine.

“I kind of feel like telling you — I don’t know — I’ve just never been this happy in my life, in all aspects of my life ever before,” the singer-songwriter gushed to concertgoers during Saturday’s show of her Eras Tour.

“And I just want to thank you for being a part of that,” she continued. “It’s not just the tour. I just sort of feel like my life finally feels like it makes sense.”

Over the last few weeks, Healy — who is also English — has been caught attending Swift’s concerts (the rocker was even photographed sitting with her dad), hanging out with her after hours, kissing her in public, leaving her recording studio and sneaking into her apartment.

Alwyn, for his part, has reportedly been “doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself.”
