The taxi driver says it wouldn’t be considered a chase
Sukhcharn Singh drove the taxi for the royal family and spoke to the Washington Post saying that “I don’t think I would call it a chase, I never felt like I was in any danger. It wasn’t like a car chase in a movie. They were calm and looked scared but it it’s New York – that’s for sure.”
Meanwhile, New York Mayor Eric Adams mentioned that he found it hard to believe that a two-hour high-speed chase could take place in New York.
