Miles grew up in Paxton, Illinois before moving to Sacramento at the end of his freshman year of high school to live with his aunt and pursue his musical dreams. “Nothing compares to 2 U” by Connor. I’m just thrilled that everything went well and everyone’s performances were so good,” Miles said after the performances. She said she was honored to get the chance to close out Monday’s show, her focus has now shifted from competition to celebration. “I really just want to celebrate with everyone,” she said. “It’s been a really long experience, but one of the best moments of my entire life. I want to celebrate. Because yesterday we were a little stressed. And today I want to be more fun and relaxed, and just have a good day. I’m probably going to eat pizza because I wanted to eat pizza last night, and I didn’t eat when I got back because I just wanted to sleep. So pizza today and party today. “Miles, the remaining contender for Team Niall, has strong competition to Grace West and NOIVAS for Team Blake, D. Smooth for Team Kelly, and Sister Trio Sorelle for Team Chance. Coach Blake Shelton is looking to end his farewell season on the show with another win. She closed the evening of one of the two-part finales on Monday by performing “Nothing Compares 2 U” by Sinéad O’Connor. She also covered a version of Taylor Swift’s “Style” earlier on the show.
“I’m very emotional right now. I’m just glad it all went well and everyone’s performances were so good,” Miles said after the performances.
She said she was honored to have the chance to close Monday’s show.
